Young stars in the performing arts oozing with potential are taking part in Willie Venter’s I am Young Moments project in October.
Nine singers, dancers and actors from Bloemfontein and Bethlehem are part of the project themed “Compassion and love for those around you”.
This spectacle will emerge from a seven-day workshop, during which the participants dive into the worlds of singing and performance.
Conceived by Willie Venter, I Am Young Moments serves as an extraordinary platform for emerging local talent.
Featuring a vibrant cast of young stars, this initiative empowers aspiring artists to share the stage with seasoned professionals.
Heinrich Nortje, one of the participants, shares his enthusiasm about the project.
“I cannot wait to dive into this workshop. Willie’s inspiring spirit of dancing and reaching for new heights has shaped my journey.”
Also taking part is Lisa van der Merwe from Bethlehem, a spirited lyric soprano who loves to dive into a rich tapestry of musical styles.
I am Young Moments is a project, not a competition, giving these young artists a platform to perform in front of an audience.
