Authorities arrested three armed suspects in Ficksburg after members of the Park Road Tactical Response Team (TRT) deployed in Ficksburg received a tip-off about a planned robbery on 18 October.
On Wednesday, at about 17:00, information was received about three men noticed near a house on Church Street, in possession of firearms. The police reacted swiftly and the suspects were arrested for being in possession of unlicensed firearms and of conspiracy to commit a crime. They will soon appear in the Ficksburg Magistrates’ Court.
