Suspects still at large

The police in Bethlehem are still looking for suspects in the murder of Tsepho Mohlakoana (38), who was the manager of legal services at the Dihlabeng Municipality in Bethlehem.

The police in Bethlehem are still looking for suspects in the murder of Tsepho Mohlakoana (38), who was the manager of legal services at the Dihlabeng Municipality in Bethlehem.

On 30 June, Mohlakoana was shot several times after he left his mother’s house in Môrelig, Bethlehem.

Mohlokoana, who was sitting in his car, was confronted by the suspects who allegedly hid behind trees and approached him from the dark.

They shot at him several times and fled the scene.

Mohlokoana was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment.

He died on his birthday on Sunday, 2 July.

A memorial service, organised by the Dihlabeng Municipality, was held for Mohlokoana on Thursday (06/07), where he was described as a brilliant, visionary leader who was passionate about his work and had a good sense of humour.

His official funeral took place on Sunday (09/07) at 09:00, at the Ntsu Secondary School in Bethlehem.

He was laid to rest at the Utopia cemetery.

The police request that anyone with information regarding the murder call the investigatng officer, Lt. Col Zebulon Kolatsoeu, on 082-453-6245.
