Police dogs sniff out dagga at house in Bohlokong

Two suspects were arrested in Bethlehem for having dagga in their possession, as well as for apparently selling it.


Two suspects were arrested in Bethlehem for having dagga in their possession, as well as for apparently selling it.

On Wednesday (19/01) the Public Order Police task team was performing crime prevention duties in Bethlehem and surrounding areas. Information was received from the K9 unit about two males dealing in dagga at Bohlokong.

The house was searched and three black plastic bags containing dagga, with 35 small transparent packets containing the same drug, were found. The dagga weighing 901 g has an estimated street value of R1 352.

The suspects appeared in the Bethlehem Magistrate’s Court on Friday (21/01) on charges of dealing in dagga.

They are remanded in custody while the case is being investigated further.
