The New Horizon College private schools in Bethlehem and Harrismith have once again achieved a 100% pass rate in the 2023 National Senior Certificate (NCS) examination.
Both schools have boasted excellent results over the past few years.
Matric learners and their teachers were congratulated for their hard work in achieving these results. The schools also thanked the Department of Education for its involvement and support, as well as the directors of New Horizon College, management, the staff, parents, and learners. Management says that the class of 2023 have demonstrated that positive action, combined with positive thinking, can only result in success.
The top four learners of the New Horizon College in Bethlehem are: Dikomo Mofokeng with three distinctions, Tsepo Madiba with two distinctions, Lintle Kolobe with two distinctions, and Rethabiseng Thorela with one distinction.
This branch had 48 out of 59 bachelor’s passes with a total of 27 distinctions.
The New Horizon College in Harrismith had a 100% pass rate with a 72,45% bachelor’s degree pass rate, 22 Level 7 distinctions, and 99 Level 6 distinctions.
The top achievers were Makula Malehola with four distinctions, Lelethu Majova with three distinctions, and Andiswa Mtambo with three distinctions.
