A fugitive suspected to have been involved in several crimes in Reitz has been apprehended by the police.
On 20 September the police followed up on information about a wanted vehicle that was heading towards the Heilbron and Petrus Steyn area. After a brief chase, the driver (43) was arrested. The other suspect fled the scene and is still at large.
Further investigations revealed that the 43-year-old is linked to a business robbery from earlier this year, is on parole, and is wanted for murder.
He faces charges of having unlicensed firearms and business robbery.
