A beauty from the heart of the Northern Free State counts among the 30 finalists in this year’s Miss South Africa pageant.
Stacy Gassayn (25), raised in Viljoenskroon, is the only finalist to represent the province in this year’s pageant.
Stacy, a surgical orthopaedic medical representative, currently resides in Pretoria.
She holds a BSc degree in Human Movement Sciences and Physiology, and is completing a diploma in sports nutrition.
Her love of beauty products and cosmetics convinced her to pursue a diploma in professional make-up artistry as well, and she has been running a side business as a make-up artist for the past five years.
According to Stacy, she entered the pageant to give back, serve, inspire and equip a generation of women and children. She hopes to leave a legacy that will have a lasting impact on the country.
