An-Marie Meyer, a finalist in the Ms Deaf South-Africa pageant who is from Kroonstad, is running a fundraising event for the Kroonstad SPCA.
It forms part of her charity work as a finalist in the competition.
She encourages the community to donate animal food and blankets for the SPCA, especially now – seeing that the winter months lie ahead.

Donations must be dropped off on or before Friday, 2 June.
