PhoenixFire aims to be your one-stop Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) shop.

They service and install fire equipment and provide first aid and OHS training in Bethlehem and the rest of the Free State.

“We need to be the first business you think about when you hear the words health and safety,” the staff at PhoenixFire firmly believes.

Many of us do not know where to start when it comes to labour relations audits and OHS regulations, but once the subject and its contents are understood, health and safety becomes a fairly simple and effective system and process to implement.

PhoenixFire can assist by doing an audit of businesses to give advice and guidance. Various courses will upskill the workforce of a business and will empower them to successfully adhere to health and safety requirements.

If an accident at work occurs, there could be serious consequences if no safety regulations such as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety equipment were in place.

The OHS Act of 1993 assists in creating a healthy, safe, and prepared working environment. Attending PhoenixFire’s Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) training courses in occupational health and safety is beneficial to the employer and employee.

They offer the following training: first responder level 1 – basic, level 2 – intermediate and level 3 – advanced; basic fire fighting; fire marshall; evac warden; incident and accident investigator, hazard identification and risk assessment (Hira); and safety rep training.

Visit the PhoenixFire Quest Facebook page to see the latest courses, or visit F6 Bethlehem Medical Centre in Bethlehem. Call Os Bekker and his team on 058-303-9474 or 064-535-6643.
